Line Loss Lean Management

The key to grid loss analysis lies in the strategic deployment of metering devices and the accurate collection of energy data. The lean loss management solution enables the following:


  1. By deploying various boundary meters at key nodes in transmission and distribution networks, the system supports loss detection, multi-directional power flow topology analysis, and the establishment of an independent automatic meter reading (AMR) system. This allows for precise evaluation of grid losses.

  2. Taking the distribution transformer area as the core, the solution includes dedicated metering for large power users, boundary metering for public transformers, as well as residential and commercial user metering. Energy data is collected and analyzed at the transformer area level to enable accurate and granular loss statistics.

    IHM-6500-ZW32 has the characteristics of small size, light weight, anti-condensation and maintenance-free, which can be used in harsh environment.

    Auto Recloser SERIES

    IHM-6500-AR series auto recloser is a new generation of product developed to satisfy the demand of switchgear for rapid developing smart distribution network. IHM-6500-AR recloser and IHM-6500-LBS line sectionalizer cooperate to realize automatic isolation of the faulty section of the distribution line and achieve the feeder automation function. Reclosers are installed at the head of distribution lines, the head of large branches or the incoming side of users to achieve rapid local isolation of faults, and cooperating with sectionalizers to achieve sectional isolation to reduce the scope of power outages. It is widely used in ring power supply lines, radioactive lines, branch lines and end-user feeders. Reclosers can connect with SCADA to complete fault location, safe power supply transfer control, and load management etc. 


    The IHM-6500-AR Auto Recloser is equipped with a multi-interface and multi-protocol communication system, catering to both debugging and remote control needs for efficient data interaction in different scenarios. Specifically, it has:
    1.Front Panel RJ45 Ethernet Port: IEC104 protocol for debugging; 

    2.Rear Panel RS232 & RS485/232 Serial Port: IEC101/DNP3.0/Modbus for remote;

    Auto Sectionalizer SERIES

    INHE's Auto Sectionalizer adopts SF6 dielectric insulation technology. It works together with recloser to further improve feeder reliability. It can be used in the main line of distribution network, branch line or at user boundary. It detects fault and automatically isolates faulty sections of a network in conjunction with recloser operation. It also senses current and voltage to count the number of recloser trip operations. When the preprogrammed number of recloser operations is reached, the sectionalizer opens during the recloser dead time to isolate the downstream fault.


    INHE's Auto Sectionalizer can be used on overhead distribution lines for all voltage classes rated up to 40.5kV(12kV, 24kV, 40.5kV) at 50/60Hz power system.
