DCGJ-1A is a Smart Gateway/Data Collector that is designed based on advances technology for smart metering of independent vendors. Acting as a gateway between metering devices from different vendors and AMI system, DCGJ-1A utilizes Radio frequency (RF) for downlink communication to metering devices and 2G/3G communication for uplink to AMI system. DCGJ-1A can also create daisy chain RF media efficiently for uplink communication (up to 7 nodes and each nodes support 800 smart meters) with the last node acting as a gateway to AMI system.
