Bangladesh faces significant challenges with electricity tampering and a high line loss rate of 11%. Additionally, manual meter reading complicates management and bill collection, leading to tight budgets and operational hurdles.
INHE has pioneered the deployment of a large-scale AMI system in Bangladesh. It has supplied millions of smart meters to key utility companies in the region, enabling effective reduction of electricity tampering and substantial decrease in line losses. This AMI system implementation offers real-time monitoring and management capabilities for meters, significantly enhancing management efficiency.
