Distribution Network Fault Automatic Management System

Medium voltage distribution network (11kV/22kV/33kV) is one of the most fault-prone systems due to its complex network structure with long lines and many branches, and its susceptibility to external forces and natural environment. We provide fault circuit indicators, data collector, and GIS positioning to achieve rapid automatic fault location, and a hybrid configuration of recloser,  sectionalizer, and interconnection switch to achieve automatic fault isolation and self-healing  power supply in non-fault areas.

    IHM-6110 FCI and DCU for Underground Network SERIES

    IHM-6110 (Fault Circuit Indicator and data collector) has been designed based on advanced technology for underground cable to pinpoint fault location and accurately log load in any point along the electric distribution power network (faults like two-phase or three-phase short-circuit fault and single-phase earth fault). IHM-6110 is equipped with visual indication to support locating the fault at field.

    IHM-6110 has been designed based on latest technology to be maintenance-free during long life. Installation process of IHM-6110 is very simple and can be done on hot line anywhere.


    Data Collector(DCU) is the core element acting as gateway between FCI and Smart SCADA/DMS central system, using fiber optic to communicate with FCIs and remote communication like GPRS/3G/4G/FO with smart SCADA/DMS central system. Utility company can monitor the condition information of the line in real time and fault location of the line through smart SCADA/DMS central system with DCU.
